I have been busy creating lately. We took a long road trip the other day and I brought my yarn bag with me! I made two mini plants which I think turned out very cute!

Purple and Yellow Iris Flowers
I was inspired to make some Iris flowers for my Aunt. After a long search on YouTube I did find a video to go by. It was in another language but had English in the captions. I had to watch it a few times and did a LOT of pausing, rewinding and counting myself, to follow her but the flowers did turn out cute I think. The video was pretty easy to follow. I liked it 👍
There was just one change I made. When she finishes the petal, I did one extra trim around the petal with a *sc, ch2* on the bottom three petals and *slst, ch2* on the top three petals to make them seem a bit more frilly. 😊
I really enjoyed making these pretty little Iris flowers!

Strawberry vines
Well I have learned how to make another little potted plant. I used parts of the videos from SGIBYN Crochet Tutorials to make these strawberry plants. I also used some pictures off Pinterest to follow, to make different jagged leaves of the plants. I think they turned out so very cute❣
Here are the new jagged leaves (on the right in the picture), I am starting on. I think they match strawberry leaves much better.

Little Hanging Plants
I have been very busy this spring with my garden, chickens and building our house. I do like to find time in the evening to crochet while I watch a show with my hubby. Great way to wind down from a long day. Maybe it's the garden that inspires me right now but I have been crocheting little hanging plants lately. I think they turned out super cute!!

Yellow Gerbera Daisies
Last week I challenged myself to crocheting something new. After many hours searching YouTube and using 3 videos, I made some very cute Gerbera Daisies. I like using the videos because they not only show how to make things but I can rewind (as I do often) and slow the video to follow the stitch. My flowers turned out pretty good for my first try I think. My friend, who I gave them to, said they were beautiful! so there is that. 😊 She brightened up her office with them. She is a plant lover like me. These are great for her office because she has no window. The flowers won't need sun or water to stay pretty! Yay!

Favorite Month!
First of all, my apologies for not posting in a bit. I have been so busy. I am trying to get another crochet pattern written and I think I have frogged the head 20 times already! So, yes it is still a work in progress.
I figured I would pop onto my blog here and brag about my month a bit. Yes, my month. I love February💜💜💜. It is my favorite month of the year. It is also my birthday month, and very special. I was a Valentine baby. Yup, Feb 14th birthday. So this month is filled with purples and reds and hearts galore!
This is a good time to share a couple of heart doilies I have made in the past. the Rose colored one I made for my mom and the multi-colored purple one is for myself. I decorate my holiday table with it every February💕
The pattern is "Sweetheart Soiree" by Draiguna. I really love Julia's creations!

Update a pattern
Hello all! I am just letting you know I made a few changes to my Latte coaster pattern. I have updated the pattern PDF on Ravelry and it is now active and up for sale again.
I am also working on final edit of Betty the cow coaster too. Have found a few edits I need to make in the pattern and taking the photos to go with it. I will upload to Ravelry when done. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
